All Cress Gallery events are free and open to campus and community.
Cress events range from artist's lectures, presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and gallery talks as well as informal receptions that provide an opportunity for one on one conversation with the artists in association with exhibitions of their work.

Merging painting with conceptual, process, and installation strategies, Matthew Deleget’s reductive abstraction creates a rich sensory experience in response to the broad plurality of our contemporary world. In addition to his artistic practice, Deleget writes, curates, and advocates for the arts, and is co-founder of the gallery Minus Space, a platform for the international promotion of reductive art located in Brooklyn, NY. UTC Department of Art Senior BFA Thesis Exhibition: Show Two
Exhibition opens Tuesday April 16, 2013: Artist's presentations begin at 4:30pm, UTC Cadek Hall Auditorium located on Oak Street; followed by an opening reception at the Cress Gallery, lobby of the UTC Fine Arts Center, 752 Vine Street. Parking for this event on April 16 is free after 3:30pm in Lot 10 behind the Engineering Bldg, Palmetto and Vine Street and directly across from the Fine Arts Center, and in the Lupton Library Lots 11 & 12. See Cress Parking and Admissions tab for information about parking on other days, and see you at the Cress!
