Merging painting with conceptual, process, and installation strategies, Matthew Deleget’s reductive abstraction creates a rich sensory experience in response to the broad plurality of our contemporary world. In addition to his artistic practice, Deleget writes, curates, and advocates for the arts, and is co-founder of the gallery Minus Space, a platform for the international promotion of reductive art located in Brooklyn, NY. August 28, 2012Across The Board: An exhibition selected from the personal collections of UTC Department of Art Faculty
sets the Cress in full sail for the 2012-2013 exhibition schedule. With 42 works from 18 collections,
and a variety of media from video to sculpture, conceptual to oil on canvas, and Suzuki to sock puppets,
this exhibition is determined to provoke comment and conversation.
The exhibition runs through September 30, 2012.
